A Rare Gem.

What I admire most about Matt is that he is the Swiss army knife of digital marketing. An endlessly creative mind, combined with mad website development skills and exceptional design talents, makes him a triple threat. He also is intuitive and personable, which helps build team camaraderie. We had a small (but mighty) team and I appreciated his humor, dedication and willingness to jump in whenever and wherever needed to get projects done at the highest level. Matt built our website twice-over during the time we worked together, launched our social media presence and was the picture to my words for all creative output. Without his visual acuity, my words would have just have been words. Paired with his visual creations, they told a powerful story.

Without reservation I'd take up another chance to work with Matt. During my time at Intellectual Ventures we worked together on building the Global Good website, which met the organization's need for helping new commercialization partners understand the unique mission of this one of a kind Gates-backed institution. From the beginning until launch running the creative and technical build out processes in tandem was seamless. I never presented an challenge he couldn't think through to find a sensible technical and design solution. The Global Good work set the stage for his team taking on the corporate Intellectual Ventures website which was a creative leap forward decades from the previous clunky monster of a site our communications team inherited. Matt taught several times for us at the School of Visual Concepts, bringing a wonderful blend of knowledge, experience, humor, energy, and humanity into the classroom. He consistently earned the highest evaluation scores from his students, as well as our deep appreciation for giving up his evenings and weekends for the cause of education. I can't say enough good things about Matt, his skills, and his endless positivity.

Matt is great to work with; he has a professional approach, does high-caliber work, and makes the process of building a website fun. We had a from-the-ground-up project with a tight timeline. Matt exceeded our expectations. Despite the aggressive timeline, he was thoughtful about creating a unique user experience. Our team was also very particular about the visual design; Matt did a great job of embracing our style while providing practical ways to enhance the functionality of the site. On the front end, the website was beautiful and encouraged exploration and further page views. The back-end experience was great, as well; Matt set up a very intuitive content management system that made it easy for our team to update and maintain. I would work with Matt again in a heartbeat.
